About Parts Scanner
Compare car part prices, buy where it's cheapest
Parts Scanner is a price comparison site for auto parts in the United States. Search for a part, and we show you its price at stores such as CARiD, PartsGeek and KSP Performance, side by side. You pick the best deal and buy directly from the store.
We started Parts Scanner because buying car parts online shouldn't mean opening a dozen tabs. One search should be enough to know you're paying a fair price.
Our story
From a student idea to a price comparison site for US drivers.
The idea
Two students at the University of Southampton came up with Parts Scanner after finding that the same car part could cost very different amounts depending on the store, and that comparing prices meant checking each store's site one by one.
First steps
Work started on building Parts Scanner: a single search that brings prices from several stores together and shows them side by side.
Partnership with Parts Square
We partnered with Parts Square for vehicle fitment data in the United States, so the parts we show are matched to the year, make and model you're shopping for.
What we stand for
Impartial results
Prices are shown side by side and ordered by price and relevance. Stores can't pay for a better position.
Parts that fit
Fitment data from Parts Square matches parts to your vehicle, so you compare the right part, not just a similar one.
Free to use
Parts Scanner costs nothing. We may earn a commission from the store when you buy, and it never changes the price you pay.
